Caden Shepherd, DNP, is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who received his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Utah in 2023. Prior to his DNP, Caden received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah in 2017. Since graduating, Caden worked as a bedside trauma nurse in emergency medicine and was offered a competitive job as a Nurse Practitioner upon graduation. Caden has always performed top of his class, graduating with honors, and continually expanding his knowledge base. Caden is nationally certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Caden recognizes the diverse living experiences of each patient, listening to their goals, and partnering with them to come up with their own unique and individualized treatment plan. Working in emergency medicine informed Caden’s passion for preventative medicine, looking at the whole person, including both physical and mental health. Caden is known to work efficiently and thoroughly under high stress and pressure situations, striving for excellent patient care and outcomes. Caden is proficient in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and medical weight loss management.

In Caden’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs. He additionally enjoys traveling, hiking, snowboarding, and running.
